Christina Allen

Christina Allen is a licensed esthetician, certified health coach, and the founder and CEO of Citron Spa in Providence, Rhode Island, at 225 Wayland Avenue in Wayland Square, established in 2013. She brings over 20 years of experience in skincare and wellness. She is a Barrington native who attended the Rob Roy Academy, the Aveda Institute, and the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics for her esthetics education. She also attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition for her health coach certificate, Harvard Divinity for certificates in Buddhism and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Southern New Hampshire University for her Business Administration degree (2020-2022). She holds certifications in State Board Recognized IPL and Laser, Aveda, Cynosure Laser Vein Removal, and Cynosure Laser Hair Removal. Before opening Citron, she spent 12 years working at a high-end Boylston Street spa in Boston (Athena Aveda), increasing personal income to over six figures. She led Citron to $1 million in revenue between 2020-2022 despite closing for 5 months during COVID. She grew revenue to half a million per year post-pandemic, exceeding pre-pandemic revenue. She encompasses the Ayurvedic philosophy and five elements of nature, with professional Feng shui design. She has planted over 4,500 trees through philanthropic efforts and donates to organizations supporting mental health. The team includes 4 nail techs, 3 estheticians, and a registered nurse.
