Erin Coggan

Erin Spencer Coggan, RN, is a registered nurse and the founder of facebarRx, the Portland medical-aesthetics practice formerly known as Face by Erin (FBE), located at 1923 NW Kearney Street in the Alphabet District. After years working in plastic-surgery offices and hospitals, she opened FBE in June 2020 and built it into a practice known for subtle, natural-looking results in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, and SkinPen microneedling. The practice operates under the direction of medical director Dr. Lisa Madarang, a board-certified internal medicine physician.

Her own experience with persistent acne, including dermatologist care and Accutane, shaped a consistency-first philosophy that led her to launch facebar, a membership-based facial and skincare concept with locations in NW Portland and downtown Lake Oswego, the latter opened in February 2024. In 2026 the injectables side of the business was rebranded as facebarRx, now led jointly by Erin and Dr. Madarang. Face by Erin was featured in Portland Monthly’s “Faces of Aesthetics” in 2022, and the Portland clinic holds a 4.8-star rating on Yelp.
