Jessie Hayes-Stallings

Jessie Hayes-Stallings is a licensed esthetician and the founder and CEO of Skinphorea Facial Bar & Acne Clinic (now The Hayes Institute of Esthetics & Entrepreneurship) in Royal Oak and Detroit's Corktown neighborhood. She founded the first facial bar and acne clinic in Metro Detroit, starting from a spare bedroom in 2014 before opening her Royal Oak location in 2016 and her 4,000-square-foot Detroit flagship in 2021. She trained at the Douglas J. Aveda Institute and the Michigan College of Beauty. Skinphorea now serves over 14,000 clients with over 400 monthly VIPs, and her popular 90-day acne bootcamp maintains a waitlist. She developed the RevitalizeU skincare line with a California-based chemist and partnered with the State of Michigan to create an esthetician apprenticeship program, providing over 35 jobs to metro Detroiters. She is a Goldman Sachs alumna (voted class speaker for Cohort 13), a member of Ernst & Young's inaugural Entrepreneurs Access Network, and a Build Institute graduate. She was named Corp Magazine's 2019 Diversity Business Leader, Michigan Chronicle Top 40 Under 40, and Crain's Detroit 2021 40 Under 40. She has been featured in Black Enterprise, Rolling Out, INC Magazine, DBusiness, SEEN Magazine, and BLAC Detroit. She specializes in acne treatments and multicultural skin, chemical peels, oxygen hydrating treatments, medical-grade facials, and customized acne solutions. She is also a mother of three daughters who are launching their own skincare line under her brand.
