Kaitlyn Leiker

Kaitlyn Leiker, BSN, RN, is the Director of Clinical Training at Laser Derm Med Spa in Shawnee, Kansas, a family-owned laser practice established in 2003. She earned her BSN from the University of Kansas School of Nursing and is currently pursuing her MSN-FNP at the University of Central Missouri. She previously served as a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission with four years of progressive care experience specializing in cardiac, stroke, and vascular surgery. She also served as a Master-at-Arms in the U.S. Navy Reserve. She has five years of experience in aesthetics with a specialty in Class VI laser technology, and leads training at the practice, writing policies, procedures, and protocols. She works alongside her husband Eric Leiker, the practice's CEO and chief laser specialist with over 100,000 treatments performed. The practice uses Alexandrite, Diode, and YAG lasers for all skin types. She specializes in laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, clinical training, and protocol development.
