Sara Courtney

Sara Courtney, DNP, NP-C, is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner and the founder of Highland Medical and Aesthetics in Flowood, Mississippi. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Sara has a diverse medical background spanning plastic surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, and urgent care. She also serves in the Air National Guard as a flight nurse. She combined her complementary medical backgrounds into her passion for aesthetic medicine when she founded Highland Medical Aesthetics. The practice offers an array of nonsurgical treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, Morpheus8, laser hair removal, IPL treatments, dermaplaning, facials, microneedling, chemical peels, and PRP treatments for skin regeneration and hair restoration. Sara has received formal, hands-on training in basic and advanced toxin and dermal filler procedures, skincare, and laser therapy.
