Dr. Steven Singalove

Dr. Steven Sigalove, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, body, and face. He practices at the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery in Paradise Valley, Arizona, where he is recognized as one of the top plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix area.

Dr. Sigalove received his pre-medical education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He earned his medical degree in 1997 from Finch University of the Health Sciences, The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. He completed his general surgery training at Rush-Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center and Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Following that, he pursued a one-year fellowship in hand surgery and then completed his plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the tutelage of Dr. Mimis Cohen. He received additional specialized training in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery with Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell in Nashville, Tennessee, and Dr. Charles Randquist in Stockholm, Sweden.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Sigalove previously practiced in the Chicago area for 15 years, where he served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. He and his family relocated to the Scottsdale area to pursue his lifelong dream of living in the Sonoran Desert. He is a pioneer and leading expert in prepectoral breast reconstruction, holding the world's largest published series on the topic. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, serves as editor of a textbook on prepectoral breast reconstruction, and acts as a contributing editor for ASJ Open Forum. He is a key opinion leader for companies such as Allergan, KCI, and Invuity, and he provides hands-on training and education to plastic surgeons worldwide.

Dr. Sigalove is a frequent national and international speaker on topics including prepectoral breast reconstruction, advances in prosthetic breast reconstruction, negative pressure incisional management, autologous fat grafting, and aesthetic revisionary breast surgery. His presentations have been featured at meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and other prestigious symposia. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Sigalove is known for his patient-centered approach. Dr. Sigalove resides in the Phoenix area with his wife Noemi, a breast surgeon, and their teenage twins, Isabella and Jackson. He enjoys outdoor activities including mountain biking and tennis.
