Parker Velargo

Dr. Parker Velargo, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a New Orleans native who graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University and earned his MD from LSU School of Medicine (2008, top quartile). He completed a five-year Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he trained at the Elvis Presley Memorial Level I Trauma Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He then completed an AAFPRS fellowship with internationally renowned Dr. E. Gaylon McCollough. He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor multiple years running and was selected for the RealSelf 100 (top 1% of the doctor community), the only facial plastic surgeon in Louisiana to earn that honor. He is the only physician in New Orleans performing the deep plane neck lift. He developed the Renaissance Lift, an innovative combination of facelift, nano-fat grafting, and skin resurfacing. He is an internationally published expert with multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He volunteers through Face to Face (pro bono surgery for domestic violence victims) and Faces of Honor (pro bono surgery for injured veterans). He specializes in modified deep plane facelifts, deep plane neck lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, otoplasty, facial feminization, facial trauma reconstruction, Botox, fillers, and laser therapy.
