H. Daniel Zegzula

Dr. H. Daniel Zegzula, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and partner at Portland Plastic Surgery Group in Portland, Oregon, at 1200 NW Naito Parkway, Suite 310, in the historic Albers Mill building in the Pearl District. He is one of the few plastic surgeons in Portland or the entire state to have trained at the renowned Harvard University School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound (BA, 1987) and St. Louis University School of Medicine (MD, 1991), completed his general surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University (1991-1997), a plastic surgery residency at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital, and served as a Clinical Fellow in Surgery at Harvard University (1997-1999). He has been practicing in Portland since 1999 and has 35 years of overall experience. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been featured six times in Portland Monthly's annual Top Doctors issue, selected by his fellow surgeons. He has been a member of The Aesthetic Society since 2006 and served on its board for eight years. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Oregon Medical Association, the Oregon Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland. He is known primarily as a breast reconstruction specialist and breast and body aesthetic surgeon. Peers describe his surgical technique as careful and precise, and patients describe his bedside manner as warm and engaging. One client noted he did not recommend a tummy tuck she did not need, which made her trust him, while another described him as a brilliant surgeon and a brilliant human being.
