Aliesh Pierce is a Licensed Esthetician, laser technician, published author, brand consultant, and esthetics educator at AskAliesh Skin Care Studio in Bala Cynwyd (Philadelphia area), Pennsylvania, at 92 Bethlehem Pike, Studio 1-A. She was named Best Aesthetician by Philadelphia Magazine (Best of Philly) for her customized facials that combine holistic and clinical approaches to reveal natural glow while educating and empowering clients. She has honed her skincare philosophy over three decades of working with faces, first as an on-set makeup artist and then as a professional esthetician. She has served as the personal makeup artist for renowned individuals including Michelle Obama, actress Ming-Na Wen, and music artist India.Arie, and worked with supermodels like Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington in her early years as an on-set makeup artist in Milan. She founded the AskAliesh Education platform to teach other estheticians her inclusive approach that celebrates the uniqueness of all clients regardless of ethnicity, age, gender identity, or sexual orientation. She started a mission to provide free and donation-based facials to underserved communities, including people who are food and housing insecure, teens, drug rehabilitation patients, and senior citizens.
