Ally-Khan Somani

Dr. Ally-Khan Somani, MD, PhD, EMBA, FAAD, FACMS, is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon and the Medical Director of Skin MD in Orland Park, Illinois, with additional locations in Evergreen Park, Skokie, and Willowbrook. He graduated from McGill University, earned his MD/PhD with honors from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, and holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. He completed his dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic under Dr. Philip Bailin, one of Dr. Frederick Mohs' original trainees. He spent 13 years as Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he directed the Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Division and developed a nationally recognized Mohs fellowship training program. He has performed over 10,000 Mohs procedures and is a recipient of the Dermatology Foundation Career Development Award. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles and lectures nationally and internationally. He also offers cosmetic services including laser surgery, microneedling, and injectable treatments.
