Amy Scarborough

Amy Scarborough is a licensed esthetician and the owner of Skin Studio KC in Kansas City, Missouri, located in the Waldo neighborhood. Originally from Texas, she has over 25 years of experience in the skincare industry. Amy started her career in Austin, Texas in 2003, opening Amy's Skin Studio. She has built her practice on educating and consulting clients on the best approaches to anti-aging, acne, and other skin irregularities. Amy embraces a 75/25 philosophy: 75% of skincare success comes from at-home care, with the remaining 25% achieved through professional treatments. Her specialty is corrective skincare with a focus on "Aging Later" rather than drastic changes. After moving to Kansas City 8 years ago, she noticed a need for an esthetician specializing in corrective skincare and client education, and opened Skin Studio KC as her storefront practice. Services include advanced anti-aging treatments, ProCell microchanneling (next-generation microneedling), customized facials using Image Skincare products, dermaplaning, chemical peels, high frequency treatments, waxing, and makeup application. She is an American Heart Association Woman of Impact and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Make-A-Wish, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the Veterans Community Project.
