Anureet K. Bajaj

Dr. Anureet K. Bajaj, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Bajaj Plastic Surgery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 8106 North May Avenue, Suite B. Born in New Delhi, India, she moved to the United States at age four, growing up in Oklahoma City. She attended Rice University in Houston for her undergraduate degree (BA in English/History), earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (1996), completed general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Loma Linda University (1997-2003), and a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (2003-2004). She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (since 2005) and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is affiliated with SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati and Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati. In 2007, she returned home to Oklahoma City to join her father, Dr. Paramjit Bajaj (board-certified plastic surgeon practicing since 1974), in the practice. In 2014, she relocated to a custom-built office building with an AAAASF-accredited operating room. She is one of the very few plastic surgeons in Oklahoma to perform DIEP flap breast reconstruction. She is on the Editorial Board of Plastic Surgery Global Open and the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She has completed leadership programs with the Oklahoma County Medical Society and ASPS. She won the Best Aesthetic Paper award. She has over 25 years of experience, and most of her patients come from referrals. Clients call her an artist, with one patient describing how she gave them their confidence back.
