Benjamin Hilliker

Dr. Benjamin Hilliker, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and the founder of firmMD in Newport, Rhode Island, at 130 Touro Street. He is one of very few physicians internationally with specialty-specific training in General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine. After studying at Dartmouth College, he pursued a career in finance at Fidelity Investments before following his true passion of helping others and matriculated at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (2012). He served as Chief Resident at Case Western, won several teaching awards, and was a national finalist at the nation's most prestigious ultrasound competition. After residency, he served on the front lines during the global pandemic as assistant medical director of multiple emergency departments in both New York and Rhode Island. He has spent over 18 years cultivating a lifelong passion for finding the intersection between Western and Alternative medicines.
