Blakelee Paige Smith

Blakelee Paige Smith, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, NP-C, is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in aesthetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She is the founder and owner of Skin + Aesthetics, a premier boutique aesthetic dermatology clinic in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Born in Cookeville, Tennessee, and raised in Livingston, Tennessee, Blakelee graduated from Livingston Academy. She attended Tennessee Technological University, where she initially studied psychology before pursuing nursing. She earned three honors degrees in nursing, two of which with Summa Cum Laude distinction and a 4.0 GPA. After living in New Orleans, Kansas City, and Nashville for over 12 years, she returned to the Upper Cumberland region.

With more than 14 years of experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine, Blakelee has worked across every aspect of the field. As an aesthetic injector and provider, she offers services that include neurotoxins, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, and comprehensive aesthetic treatments. She is known for her evidence-based, patient-focused approach that emphasizes safety, efficacy, natural enhancement, and individualized care.

A dedicated advocate for education and standards in aesthetic medicine, Blakelee serves as a clinical educator and international-level speaker at leading aesthetic conferences. She is a published author in academic and scholarly journals. She actively contributes to the creation of educational materials for dermatology nurses and nurse practitioners as part of the Dermatology Nurse Practice cohort. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society, International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, and Dermatology Nurses Association. She also serves as co-chair of the Tennessee chapter of the American Med Spa Association, focusing on legislation related to medical spas.
