Burke E. Chegar

Dr. Burke E. Chegar, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery in Carmel, Indiana. A Carmel native, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wabash College and earned his MD from Indiana University. He completed a general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency in New York, followed by a facial plastic surgery fellowship through Emory University School of Medicine in Georgia. He is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He obtained the third highest score nationally on the ABFPRS examination and received the John Orlando Roe Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery for the best clinical research paper by a facial plastic surgery fellow. He has made over a dozen presentations at national surgical meetings and published numerous articles in professional journals. His practice has been in operation since 2009 with Terri Knoll, RN, a Galderma GAIN trainer with 20 years of injection experience, leading the aesthetics team. He specializes in facelifts, rhinoplasty, brow lifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty, facial reconstruction, Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Radiesse, and advanced laser skin procedures.
