Candace Thornton Spann

Dr. Candace Thornton Spann, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the co-owner of Couture Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in 1995 and graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2000. She completed her internship and residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, a Columbia University Hospital Program. After completing residency, she spent two years in private practice in New York City and two years in Salt Lake City before returning to her hometown of Las Vegas in 2009. She and her husband, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Marvin Spann, opened Couture Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in 2012. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Castle Connolly Top Doc. She has received the Highest Patient Satisfaction rating from the Intermountain Medical Group and has been featured as a Top Dermatologist in Nevada by several organizations. Her areas of expertise include women's hair loss, skin cancer prevention and treatment, treatment of skin disorders for all ages and skin types, dermatologic surgery for cancerous and benign lesions, and skin rejuvenation.
