Carolyn A. Cushing

Dr. Carolyn A. Cushing, MD, is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with additional fellowship training in hand surgery, practicing at REFINE Plastic and Hand Surgery in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Raised in Texas, she attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate studies and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she also completed a highly competitive integrated plastic surgery residency (2006 to 2012). She then completed a hand surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Cushing is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with an additional board certification in hand surgery (CAQH). Before entering private practice, she served as the Director of the Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is affiliated with Merit Health Woman's Hospital and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Cushing performs a wide variety of cosmetic, reconstructive, and hand surgery procedures, specializing in breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, body contouring after weight loss, facial rejuvenation, carpal tunnel surgery, trigger finger repair, and hand injury treatment.
