Daniel Schlessinger

Dr. Daniel Schlessinger, MD, is a double board-certified dermatologist, Mohs surgeon, and cosmetic surgeon at Schlessinger MD and Medical Director of LovelySkin in Omaha, Nebraska. An Omaha native, he attended Northwestern University's prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education with Honors in Classics, then earned his medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed a rigorous Preliminary-Medicine internship at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital and his dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, where he served as Chief Resident. He returned to Northwestern University for a dual-accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. He is the youngest person to win the coveted Iron Surgeon title from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, joining fewer than 40 individuals recognized by peers for skill in dermatologic and cosmetic surgery. He and his father, Dr. Joel Schlessinger, are the only father-son duo to hold this prestigious award. Together they have completed over 150,000 Botox injections, 80,000 dermal filler treatments, and thousands of additional procedures including laser resurfacing, tumescent liposuction, Kybella, and CoolSculpting. He serves as Volunteer Adjunct Faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, is considered a national expert on artificial intelligence in dermatology, serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has published dozens of articles and co-authored several book chapters. At age 12, he co-founded FixMySkin Healing Balms with his father and grandfather, successfully obtaining two patents for the formulation.
