David B. Roy

Dr. David B. Roy, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the founder of Pine Belt Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, with locations in Petal, Hattiesburg, Ellisville, and Biloxi, Mississippi. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and his medical degree from NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Grandview Hospital/Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, and his dermatology residency at Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona, and Kingman Regional Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Roy is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He founded Pine Belt Dermatology in 2014 at Stone County Hospital in Wiggins, Mississippi, and has since grown it into a multi-location practice. He has performed over 3,000 Mohs surgeries, and his surgical skill has been compared to that of a plastic surgeon. His professional memberships include the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
