Dwight M. Ellerbe

Dr. Dwight M. Ellerbe, MD, FACS, FAAP, is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist at ACENT (Alaska Center for Ear, Nose and Throat) in Anchorage, Alaska. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, facelifts, otoplasty, and neck rejuvenation, bringing his extensive training in head and neck surgery to deliver natural-looking aesthetic results. Dr. Ellerbe graduated from The Citadel and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1980. He completed a residency in pediatrics in 1983 and practiced general pediatrics before pursuing surgical training. In 1994, he completed a residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He then completed a clinical fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, before joining the staff at ACENT. Dr. Ellerbe is board certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, and pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A retired Colonel of the United States Air Force, Dr. Ellerbe served in Mississippi, Japan, Hawaii, Texas, and Alaska during a distinguished military career. He is affiliated with Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Regional Hospital.
