Emi Harbison

Emi Harbison is a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Acne Specialist, and the founder of The Sun Room Aesthetics & Wellness in Cullman, Alabama. Her path into skincare was personal. After struggling with acne growing up, she developed a deep curiosity about how skin works and what it takes to truly heal it. That curiosity became a career, and eventually a business. She went solo in February of 2023, renting a single treatment room, and by October of 2024, she had purchased a space and opened The Sun Room at just 22 years old.

The Sun Room has quickly become a destination in North Alabama. Emi offers a wide menu of services including Hydrafacial, LED light therapy, nano-needling, BioRePeel, chemical peels, acne revision through her Acne Boot Camp program, lash lifts and tints, and brow and lip waxing. Her approach is holistic; she treats skin concerns at the root rather than chasing quick fixes, and she is selective about the product lines she carries, choosing only those that deliver measurable results. The spa itself reflects her philosophy: a warm, cozy environment designed to give clients a true moment of stillness in an otherwise nonstop world.

Emi has been voted Cullman's Best of the Best in both 2024 and 2025, and she has expanded The Sun Room into a multi-provider wellness space that now includes lash services, hair styling, and more. Her clients describe her as patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their progress. She has spoken openly about the pride she felt when her very first Acne Boot Camp client completed the program with clear skin and began showing off her before-and-after photos to anyone who complimented her complexion. For Emi, that is the work.
