Hannah Vargas

Dr. Hannah Vargas, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon specializing in facial plastic surgery and the founder of Vargas Face and Skin Center in the Kansas City area (Prairie Village, Kansas), which she opened in 2011. She earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1997, where she received multiple research awards and scholarships. She completed her internship and residency training in Head and Neck Surgery at Albany Medical Center and additional training at the New England Laser and Surgery Center. She was awarded the honor of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Vargas moved to Kansas City in 2002, where she initially ran the Center for Facial Plastic Surgery before opening her own practice. She is one of the few female plastic surgeons in the Kansas City area who specializes exclusively in facial plastics. She has been voted Best Cosmetic Surgeon by KC Magazine in 2007 and 2012 and has been voted Kansas City's Top Doc by other doctors. She is a recipient of the American Medical Association's Physician Recognition Award and is recognized as a RealSelf Top Doctor. She lectures at regional and national medical society meetings and has published in peer-reviewed journals including the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. Vargas Face and Skin Center offers facelift (including the QuickLift), rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lift, neck lift, hair restoration for men and women, Botox, dermal fillers, Halo and ProFractional laser resurfacing, BBL photofacials, Vivace radiofrequency microneedling, HydraFacial MD, SkinTyte, chemical peels, and dermaplaning. She also participates in the national coalition against domestic violence through the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
