Jared Nimtz

Dr. Jared Nimtz, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS) and the founder of Commonwealth Plastic Surgery, with offices in Lexington, London, and Georgetown, Kentucky. He graduated with honors in microbiology from Brigham Young University and earned his MD from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received the Dean's Merit Scholarship. He completed a selective 6-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky. He has been practicing in Lexington since 2013 and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Aesthetic Society. His Lexington location includes a private surgical center custom-constructed to optimize safety, privacy, and comfort. He has traveled abroad with Medical Mission Ecuador to treat children with facial and limb abnormalities. He speaks fluent German and is a published researcher. He draws patients from Lexington, Georgetown, Louisville, London, Bowling Green, and Knoxville, TN.
