Jeffrey D. Wagner

Dr. Jeffrey D. Wagner, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, Clinical Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, and the founder of Wagner and Associates Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Consultants of Indiana in Indianapolis, established in 2004. He earned his MD from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Washington, and his plastic surgery training at the University of Michigan. He is an internationally recognized researcher and authority on melanoma, skin cancer, and plastic/reconstructive techniques, having founded the Indiana University Melanoma Program and served as its Surgical Director. He has performed over 7,000 cosmetic and reconstructive operations and authored nearly 100 journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the VA Roudebush Veterans Hospital and as Medical Director of the Community Health Network Cutaneous Oncology Program. He has been named one of the Best Doctors in America every year since 1999, America's Top Surgeons since 2004, and an Indianapolis Monthly Top Doc since 2012. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, skin cancer surgery, melanoma treatment, breast surgery, body contouring, and facial procedures.
