Jill Waibel

Dr. Jill Waibel, MD, FACS, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the founder and Medical Director of Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute in Miami, Florida. She is a world-recognized leader and innovator in dermatologic laser surgery, with over 65 laser devices in her practice. She earned her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and is Subsection Chief of Dermatology at Baptist Hospital, Medical Director of Miami Cancer Institute's Multidisciplinary Skin Cancer Clinic, and Clinical Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami. She is renowned for pioneering laser treatment of burn and traumatic scars, including treating Vietnam War "Napalm Girl" Kim Phuc. She was named ABC World News Tonight "Person of the Week" in 2015, received the JDD Humanitarian Award in 2016, and the ASLMS Leadership Award in 2017. She sits on the board of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and the Medical Advisory Board of five leading laser manufacturers.
