Julene B. Samuels

Dr. Julene B. Samuels, MD, FACS, is a nationally recognized, double board-certified plastic surgeon (General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) and the founder of A Woman's Touch MD in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her BS in Pharmacy with distinction (1982) and MD with distinction (1987) from the University of Kentucky. She completed a five-year general surgery residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and plastic surgery training at UTSW and Baylor Medical Center, one of the nation's premier plastic surgery centers of excellence. She has been teaching cosmetic surgical techniques to plastic surgery residents at the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville since 1995. She is a Key Opinion Leader, Consultant, Speaker, and Clinical Investigator for Candela, BTL, Apyx Medical, and InMode. She published the first 12-month CO2RE Intima study with histology by a plastic surgeon. Her practice is Kentucky's only designated Body by BTL Center. She is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and serves on the External Advisory Board of the UK Lewis Honors College. Her practice features Sciton Joule X, Candela CO2RE, UltraClear cold fiber laser, Halo, EMFACE, Morpheus8, and multiple other advanced devices. She draws patients from a 100-mile radius including Southern Indiana and Lexington.
