Lovely C. Laban, GNP-C, MSN, is a nationally recognized aesthetic nurse practitioner and the Co-Founder, Co-Owner, and Medical Director of Skin by Lovely, with locations in Portland and Lake Oswego, Oregon, as well as Santa Monica, California, and Camas, Washington. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and her Master of Nursing degree from UCLA before becoming nationally certified. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she grew up in a self-described hippie family that was skeptical of aesthetic treatments, which shaped her philosophy of natural-looking results. She has over 12 years of injecting experience and built one of the largest Botox practices in the country. Skin by Lovely is certified by Allergan as a Top 10 most-experienced Botox clinic in the United States and is recognized as the number one Botox Cosmetic Provider in both Oregon and Santa Monica, California. Many of the practice's providers are National Trainers for injectable product manufacturers. In 2016, she founded InjectionU, assembling a group of highly skilled aesthetic injectors to train physicians and licensed medical professionals across the U.S. and Canada in injectable products. She is on the Allergan Alle Advisory Board. The practice has been recognized as one of the most philanthropic medium-size companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington and one of the top women-owned businesses in the region by the Portland Business Journal. Skin by Lovely has a partnership with the Portland Thorns FC. The Portland location recently moved to a new home in Slabtown. The practice's Lovely Allies Program encourages team volunteerism.
