Mona Sadeghpour

Dr. Mona Sadeghpour, MD, FAAD, is an award-winning, board-certified, fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologist and the co-founder and Medical Director of SkinMed Institute of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (opened Spring 2024). She is a Yale Medical School graduate and one of only a select few physicians in western Pennsylvania to have completed the highest level of training in laser and cosmetic dermatology through nationally accredited residency and fellowship programs. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas Honors Program as class valedictorian, earned her MD from Yale University School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, her dermatology residency at UPMC (serving as Chief Resident), and her Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She previously served as Assistant Professor and Medical Director of the University of Colorado Skin, Laser, and Cosmetic Surgery Center, where she held one of the highest overall rates for patient satisfaction and created an innovative educational curriculum for laser and cosmetic dermatology. She is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences and an advisory board member to leading aesthetic companies. She is a trusted media resource for Allure, Glamour, The Washington Post, and Fortune. She continues to teach at UPMC, the Cleveland Clinic, and the University of Florida. She has particular mastery in treating Skin of Color safely and effectively. She is a mother of two.
