Monique Olmo

Monique Olmo is a Licensed Esthetician and the founder of Zemi Skin Society, a skincare studio in the heart of center city Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 1503 Walnut Street, Studio 17A (inside Sola Salons). She is a South Philly native with over 20 years in the skincare industry. She was named Best Aesthetician by Philadelphia Magazine (Best of Philly). In her 55-minute treatments, she takes a progressive, not aggressive approach to skincare, cleansing, exfoliating, and hydrating each face with a completely customized treatment while filling the session with positive energy. She debuted her own private suite, Zemi Skin Society, inside Walnut Street's Sola Salons. Zemi honors the Taino word for ancestral spirit, remaining rooted in healing traditions borrowed from indigenous cultures. She believes skincare should be a deeply personalized ritual, not just a routine, and sees aging as a privilege, not something to resist. The team includes esthetician Mattie, whose journey into esthetics was inspired by her own transformative treatments with Monique.
