Richard Bruneteau

Dr. Richard J. Bruneteau, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Aesthetic Surgical Images in Omaha, Nebraska, where he has been in practice since 1990. A native of Omaha, Dr. Bruneteau attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Iowa and a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He then completed a fellowship in microvascular surgery at the University of California and a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Metro Omaha Medical Society. Dr. Bruneteau has served as the director of the craniofacial team at Children's Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. He is currently an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has written numerous articles in medical journals regarding plastic surgery. Both Dr. Bruneteau and his colleague Dr. John Edney have been named to the RealSelf 100 list, honoring the top 100 cosmetic medical professionals in the nation. Aesthetic Surgical Images has been voted number one in breast augmentation in Omaha Magazine's Best of Omaha Awards for 13 consecutive years and has performed over 18,000 surgical procedures in its state-of-the-art, nationally accredited Surgi-Suite.
