Samuel M. Sohn

Dr. Samuel M. Sohn, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founding partner of Hankins and Sohn Plastic Surgery Associates in Henderson, Nevada. A native of Southern California, he graduated with honors from Stanford University with a major in Biological Sciences, then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where he was awarded numerous scholarships for academic excellence. He completed his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at GRMERC/Michigan State University, one of the oldest and most established community-based plastic surgery programs in the country. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, making him one of the few fellowship-trained plastic surgeons in Las Vegas. While in New York, he worked with some of America's top plastic surgeons, perfecting techniques in breast surgery, body liposculpture, and facial rejuvenation. He joined the practice in 2008 and has served as Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Touro University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Due to his experience and skill, he has been selected as a training physician for state-of-the-art liposculpture techniques and has published numerous articles on plastic surgery. He specializes in facial rejuvenation, breast aesthetics, body contouring, and liposuction, combining artistry with surgical technique.
