Shelly Botsford

Shelly Botsford, NP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner and founder of Pure Skin Aesthetic and Laser Center in Bismarck, North Dakota, at 100 West Broadway Avenue, Suite 120. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She is board certified by the American College of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified and active member of The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has been providing skin and body care services since 2003. She became certified in laser and IPL/pulsed light therapy in 2002, in injection of neuromodulators and dermal fillers in 2005, and in sclerotherapy for spider vein treatment. She has served as faculty at the University of Mary teaching Advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacology for Nurse Practitioners, and at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine (Bismarck Campus) teaching Dermatology and Aesthetics to Family Practice residents. Her earlier nursing career included St. Alexius Hospital in the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit and ICU, MedCenterOne as a Family Nurse Practitioner, rural clinics in Underwood, Center, and Washburn (co-owned with her husband Dr. John Botsford, a Family Practice Physician), and the Mid-Dakota Clinic Center for Women OB/GYN Department. She has a real passion for helping women and men feel better about themselves and reversing the appearance of premature aging. Her team includes registered nurses, medical aestheticians, certified nursing assistants, and medical assistants, plus injector Jaydee, who clients drive from Fargo to see. Clients who have known her since 2003 describe her services as unrivaled excellence and describe her as the best in town. The practice serves western North Dakota, northern South Dakota, and eastern Montana.
