Susan J. Bushelman

Dr. Susan J. Bushelman, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Derm Aesthetics of Northern Kentucky in Florence, Kentucky, which opened its state-of-the-art facility in November 2023. She is a Boone County native who earned her undergraduate degree from Northern Kentucky University and her MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (1993). She completed a three-year internal medicine residency at UK and a three-year dermatology residency at the University of New Mexico. She practiced at the Trover Clinic in Madisonville for nearly four years before joining Dermatology Associates of Northern Kentucky in 2003, where the practice was recently named Best Dermatology Practice in Northern Kentucky. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the Kentucky Medical Association. She is Past President and long-time Board Member of the Northern Kentucky Medical Society. She is a pioneer in PRP/PRF injections for hair loss and facial rejuvenation in her area. She personally oversees all treatments and ensures medical-grade standards. She specializes in Botox, Xeomin, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, sclerotherapy, PRP/PRF, radiofrequency, ultrasound treatments, and medical-grade skincare.
