Tim Kaplan

Tim Kaplan, BSN, RN, is a registered nurse and nurse injector at Avani Derm Spa, the medspa arm of Nayak Plastic Surgery in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Biological Sciences and from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Tim gained valuable bedside nursing experience before fully committing to aesthetics in 2020. Most recently, he served as a regional trainer for Merz Aesthetics, providing hundreds of trainings to injectors over the past two years. Like all nurse injectors at Avani Derm Spa, Tim has been personally trained by triple board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Laxmeesh Mike Nayak, spending several weeks at Dr. Nayak's side learning his specific injection techniques.
