Tonya Tuggle

Tonya C. Tuggle, FNP-C, MSN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Master Level Injector who co-founded Sandia Skin + Face Med Spa in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2018 with her husband Dr. Eric Tuggle, a double board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. She first earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University and practiced as a CPA for several years before transitioning to healthcare. She earned her nursing degree from Central New Mexico Community College in 2018 and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and Master's in Nursing from Simmons University in 2021. She completed training in cosmetic injections through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has been practicing in medical aesthetics for over seven years and specializes in non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures. For the past two years, she has been named a Top 10 provider in the state of New Mexico for Botox and Juvederm, and she was named the top Sciton laser provider in the state. She offers training sessions for peers in lasers and injections. She takes a conservative approach, gradually adding Botox and filler as needed. Sandia Skin + Face serves Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and surrounding communities. The practice team includes NP Emily and several support staff. Services include Botox, Xeomin, dermal fillers, Kybella, DiamondGlow, laser skin resurfacing, RF microneedling, chemical peels, facial treatments, and medical weight loss, complemented by Dr. Tuggle's surgical offerings including facelifts, brow lifts, eyelid surgery, and buccal fat removal.
