Adam H. Hamawy

Dr. Adam H. Hamawy, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Princeton Plastic Surgeons in Princeton, New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (now UMDNJ), completed a general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, and a plastic surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He also earned an MBA summa cum laude from the Rutgers School of Business in 2018. He subsequently became a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, where a tour of duty in Iraq and several years at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, afforded him extraordinary exposure to complex cosmetic and reconstructive procedures under the most difficult circumstances. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. He is affiliated with Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and St. Joseph's University Medical Center. He is an accomplished fine artist and sculptor whose work was featured on the cover of Aesthetic Society News. He has published research on laser welding for vascular anastomosis, arteriovenous fistula superficialization, and complex wound care in Gaza. He has 172 patient experience ratings on US News and a 4.6 out of 5 recommendation rating on Healthgrades. His practice is located at 106 Stanhope Street in Princeton.
