Alex Digenis

Dr. Alexander G. Digenis, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of the Digenis Plastic Surgery Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. A Lexington native, he earned his MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (1988), completed his surgical training at Vanderbilt University, and finished a plastic surgery fellowship at New York University and the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He served as a clinical professor in the plastic surgery department at the University of Louisville before starting his private practice in 1999. He performs over 1,000 cosmetic procedures annually and has over 35 years of experience.
