Chet Mays

Dr. Chet Mays, MD, is a nationally recognized, board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Mays Plastic Surgery & The Spa at MPS in Louisville, Kentucky, opened in January 2023. He earned his BA in Biology summa cum laude and his MD cum laude from the University of Louisville, then completed a general surgery internship and integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Rochester (2010-2016). He is a national leader in cosmetic breast surgery, having authored a textbook and over 20 book chapters in the field. He has been named Best Doctor by LEO Weekly Readers' Choice Awards for four consecutive years (2022-2025), Best Cosmetic Surgeon since 2023, a NewBeauty Top Doctor since 2022, and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor (top 7% of board-certified physicians in the US).
