Alexandra Schmidt

Dr. Alexandra C. Schmidt, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the owner of Vermont Plastic Surgery, located in Colchester, Vermont. She also practices at Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery alongside Dr. Susan MacLennan.

Dr. Schmidt grew up in Vermont's Upper Valley (Norwich, VT). She earned her undergraduate degree from an undisclosed institution and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her plastic surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis and a prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship in North Carolina. She joined Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery in 2021 and subsequently opened Vermont Plastic Surgery as her own boutique practice.

She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is particularly interested in facial surgery and performs a full range of cosmetic surgery on the breast, body, and face, as well as gender-affirming top surgery.
