Amy Lynn Birkenstamm, RN, CANS, is a nationally and internationally recognized aesthetic nurse, clinical trainer, and innovator in the field of aesthetic medicine, and the founder and Clinical Director of Glo Derma Med Spa and Glo Academy in Yardley, Pennsylvania, at 204 Floral Vale Boulevard. She is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), the highest accreditation possible for nurse injectors in aesthetics. She was an ER trauma nurse for more than a decade, focusing on trauma, pediatrics, and cardiac care, before venturing into facial aesthetics after the birth of her fifth child. She received her education from La Salle University. She is the creator of The Art of Reversal, a proprietary protocol combining precision reversal and regenerative techniques to restore harmony and balance to the face using advanced plasma technology, and The Sprinkle, an innovative injection technique that has attracted patients nationwide. She was recognized among Galderma's Top 100 injectors nationally in her very first year and was named one of the Top 100 Best Aesthetic Injectors in America for 2021 and 2022. She is a GEN NOW trainer with Galderma. Glo Derma has won Best MedSpa from Bucks Happening and Best of Bucks every year since opening in 2017, with additional wins for Best Aesthetic Nurse and Best Boss. She founded Glo Academy as an in-house training platform teaching injectable techniques, branding, career development, cadaver courses, and safety to medical providers. She has trained and cultivated all of Glo Derma's providers. Glo Derma has 34,000 Instagram followers and 1,292 posts. She introduced ZO Skin Health to Allure in 2019 and has trained with the renowned Dr. Obagi. She frequently attends global conferences and collaborates with leaders such as David Saadat, MD and W. Grant Stevens. The team includes Victoria (ICU nurse 5+ years, BSN 2012, MTF Biologics Renuva trainer, first to train extensively under Amy). She is a mother of five.
