Anna Bar

Dr. Anna A. Bar, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at the OHSU Department of Dermatology, Laser and Cosmetic Center in Portland, Oregon. She is the Co-Director of the Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship program and serves as the Fellowship Program Director. She received her medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at OHSU (2002-2005). She has been in practice for more than 20 years and is also an ASDS Fellow (since 2011). She was named a Regional Top Doctor in 2014. She is affiliated with OHSU Hospital and the Portland VA Medical Center. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on topics including Mohs micrographic surgery for melanoma, complex reconstruction, confocal microscopy for skin cancer detection, and artificial intelligence platforms in dermatologic surgery. She co-authored a retrospective study on melanoma and melanoma in situ treated with modified Mohs surgery with en face permanent sectioning. The OHSU Laser and Cosmetic Center provides a full range of cosmetic and rejuvenation services with an extensive collection of state-of-the-art lasers, fillers, and skincare treatments. The team includes Dr. Justin Leitenberger (Co-Director), NP Heather Onoday, Cosmetic Consultant Carrie Seid, LE, and nurses Lauren Ayala, Jaclyn Spellman, and Irene Stueber.
