Dan H. Shell IV

Dr. Dan H. Shell IV, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Shell Plastic Surgery in Oxford, Mississippi. A native Mississippian and University of Mississippi graduate (elected Mr. Ole Miss in 1993), Dr. Shell earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2000, receiving the Surgery Department Award for Most Outstanding Student. He completed a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, including a research fellowship in trauma and vascular surgery, followed by a plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Shell is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is affiliated with Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Shell Plastic Surgery also includes Shell Laser MedSpa, offering HydraFacial, SkinPen microneedling, CoolSculpting, laser hair removal, and other aesthetic treatments. Dr. Shell recognized the unmet need for plastic and reconstructive surgery in North Mississippi and built his Oxford practice to serve the region.
