Deborah Sherman

Dr. Deborah Sherman, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist, oculoplastic surgeon, master injector, and the founder of the Sherman Aesthetic Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Sherman graduated from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine (1986). She received specialty training through the Department of Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed an oculoplastics fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison under Richard K. Dortzbach, MD, a former President of the American Society of Ophthalmic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She has over 35 years of experience.

She is a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). She is affiliated with Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital. She has been using Botox since 1987 and is one of the longest-practicing Botox injectors in the nation. She served as the national BOTOX spokesperson for the Allergan "Lose Your 11" campaign, teaching in over 30 U.S. cities. She coined the trademarked phrase "Lose your 11." She has traveled internationally, teaching in Russia and China, and has trained Vanderbilt physicians in aesthetic techniques. She has appeared on multiple local and national television and radio shows and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on facial cosmetic techniques.

She practices alongside Dr. Mark Melson, and together they have over 50 years of combined experience in eyelid surgery and facial aesthetics. Their team of master injectors has over 60 combined years of injectable experience.
