Elizabeth Grace Hand

Elizabeth Grace Hand is a licensed esthetician and the founder of Stalle Studios, a treatment-focused facial studio in SoHo, New York City, that she launched in September 2021. She grew up in North Carolina and studied textiles at NC State before earning a degree in fashion merchandising management from FIT. After working in fashion sales, she joined L'Oreal in a wholesale role for corrective cosmetics brand Dermablend, where she worked with dermatologists, estheticians, and plastic surgeons nationwide. She enrolled in esthetician school at Christine Valmy International School and was then hired by Dr. Barbara Sturm, serving as an Account Executive managing sales, training, and facial events for retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, SpaceNK, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys. She was a founding esthetician at the first Dr. Barbara Sturm Boutique and Spa. She also consulted as a medical esthetician for Ject NYC, developing their first facial program. She is the only trained esthetician in New York City to use the Kagan method, a combination of Thai, European, and Japanese massage techniques. In 2021, she was selected as a member of the Violet Grey curation committee. Her celebrity clientele includes Alix Earle, Katie Holmes, Vanessa Bryant, Nell Diamond, and Hannah Traore, and she has been featured in Marie Claire, Coveteur, Into the Gloss, The Zoe Report, Russh, and NYLON. Her studio name comes from the Swedish word smultronstalle, meaning a secret, magical place you return to for comfort. Marie Claire described her as having the hands of God. Her philosophy is consistency versus intensity. Services include bespoke customized facials, Kagan method massage, collagen-stimulating laser, microneedling, IPL, RF treatments, Aquagold, SkinPen, VI Peel, professional peels, extractions, and curated skincare featuring Augustinus Bader and other premium brands.
