Elizabeth Rostan

Dr. Elizabeth Rostan, MD, is a nationally recognized board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Charlotte Skin and Laser in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Providence Road near Uptown. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship at Emory University, and finished her dermatology specialty training at Duke University, where she worked with Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, the inventor of antioxidant serums and founder of SkinCeuticals. She then pursued a fellowship in laser surgery and dermatologic cosmetic surgery in La Jolla, California, with Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick (called the King of Lasers and father of laser resurfacing by Allure Magazine) and Dr. Mitchel Goldman. She established her practice in Charlotte in 2001, filling a need for a physician with expert training in laser surgery. Her practice relocated to its current location in 2010 with the name Charlotte Skin and Laser.
