Erick Sanchez

Dr. Erick Sanchez, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS) and the owner of Erick Sanchez, MD Plastic Surgery and Bluebonnet Surgery Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A Baton Rouge native, he graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a BS in Biological Sciences and earned his MD from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans (2010), where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed a highly competitive 6-year integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, rotating through John Sealy Hospital, Shriners Burn Hospital for Children, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Cronin-Brauer Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic. He has extensive training in cosmetic surgery, complex reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. He is a published researcher with studies on pectoralis major anatomy and deep plane cervicofacial flap reconstruction.
