Dr. Gregory Borah, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Chief of the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at WVU Medicine, West Virginia University School of Medicine, located at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, West Virginia 26506.
Dr. Borah completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also trained in general surgery. He completed a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1986) and has over 40 years of experience.
He is a Professor at WVU and leads the Division's clinical care, education, and research programs. The Division provides specialized services including adult and pediatric general reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, cleft and craniofacial care, hand surgery, lower extremity salvage, wound care, and cosmetic surgery. He is active in WVU's Global Health Program, performing reconstructive surgery for domestic abuse victims and civil war survivors in Sri Lanka and other countries. He directs teaching for medical, dental, and ancillary students and maintains both basic science and clinical research programs.
Services include breast reconstruction, cleft and craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, facial reconstruction, general reconstructive surgery, lower extremity salvage, wound care, cosmetic surgery, skin cancer excision, and microsurgery.
