Ben Moosavi

Dr. Benjamin L. Moosavi, MD, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of ULTIMATE Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, located at HIMG Regional Medical Center, 3075 US Route 60, Huntington, West Virginia 25705.

Dr. Moosavi is a native of Oklahoma. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drury University with a BA in Biology and Chemistry (2000). He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine (2004). He completed a general surgery residency at Marshall University's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (2005–2010), where he was named Chief Resident. He then completed a prestigious Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine (2010–2013), training with Dr. T. Rod Hester and Dr. Foad Nahai in one of the nation's top-five plastic surgery programs. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

He is double board certified by the American Board of Surgery and through the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is the Director of the Breast Reconstruction Program at St. Mary's Medical Center and is affiliated with St. Mary's and Three Gables Surgery Center. He is also the Co-Owner of The RETREAT Aesthetics & Vitality Center in Huntington. He has participated in research and teaching endeavors to advance care in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
