Heath Charvet

Dr. Heath Charvet, MD, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery) and the founder of Magnolia Plastic Surgery & MedSpa in New Orleans, Louisiana, established in 2021 and voted Best Plastic Surgeon & MedSpa of 2024 for New Orleans and Metairie. A New Orleans native (Metairie Park Country Day School), he earned his BS in Genetics cum laude from the University of Georgia and his MD from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans School of Medicine (2011). He completed a general surgery internship at the University of South Alabama, general surgery residency and plastic surgery training at the University of California-Davis, where he earned the Outstanding Chief Resident Award voted on by faculty and peers. He served as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at UC Davis (2020-2021) before returning home to New Orleans. He has won national-level awards for his work in fat grafting and breast cancer reconstruction. He is a member of The Aesthetic Society. His QUAD-A (AAASF) accredited surgical facility follows Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols. His wife, Dr. Lisa Charvet, is a Certified Nurse Anesthesiologist with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice who provides anesthesia for the practice. He provides each patient with his personal phone number for 24/7 direct access.
