Jacob M. Bloom

Dr. Jacob M. Bloom, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Bloom Plastic Surgery in Chicago, Illinois, established in 2016, with offices in downtown Chicago and Hinsdale. He graduated at the top of his class from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York and a hand surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Harvard Medical system. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been named a Chicago Top Doctor by Chicago Magazine for seven consecutive years (2019-2026) and has over 500 five-star reviews. He has been featured on CBS News and is a published researcher with work in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and the Journal of Hand Surgery. He won two research awards during his residency. He is a native of Northbrook, Illinois.
